French Soft Paste Porcelain Cobalt Blue Book-form Box, late 19th century, cobalt ground, the lid painted with a scene of an elegant mother with baby and two girls, signed Lauruc l. r., in heavily gold enameled surround, the back gold enameled with musical instruments and bellflower drops, realistically modeled with title to spine "A Trianon," ht. 8 1/4, wd. 6, dp. 2 3/4 in. scene to lid with glaze crazing. some wear to the raised gilding. some light surface scratching.
