French Walnut and Marble-top Chest of Drawers, second quarter 19th century, with speckled white marble-top above a conforming case fitted with four drawers, on ogee shaped feet, ht. 38 1/2, wd. 41 1/2, dp. 18 1/2 in. Marble top with heavy chipping along back edge and chipped along sides, not as heavily; chips along traversing rails and to apron; right side of base off, but present; age typical minor defects, scuffs, scrapes and minor losses.
