Louis XVI Style Carved Beechwood Bergere a la Reine, early 20th century, openwork cresting carved with foliage and ribbons, borders of frame carved overall with scalework and leaftips, bowfronted seat carved with berrying leaves, on twist-turned legs, on casters, seat ht. 20 1/2, wd. 22 1/2, dp. 23 in. Overall very good to excellent condition; well carved, little light on color; only very minor age typical defects; no breaks to cresting.
