Front inner hinge is weakened. First edition. Association copy, with the ownership inscription "W. E. Henley September '93" on the title page. William Ernest Henley (1849-1903), the poet and man of letters, was an intimate friend of Stevenson. He collaborated with Stevenson on four plays.
