Chinese, Likely 18th century Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). A group of two famille rose porcelain plates comprising of one with central medallion having courtly figural scene with many men and women, two women in a rowboat in foreground and the others overlooking them set before an interior with pierced wall, the rim with clusters of precious objects and peony flowers; and one with central medallion bearing a scene with male, female, and child in a landscape resting beneath an overhanging tree and before a large stone boulder with a wooden fence to foreground, the rim with four medallions decorated with birds on flowering branches alternating with open fields of orange clouds scrolls and precious objects, with a band of blue geometric patterning to rim. Both plates unmarked. Both plates approximately 10" diameter. Provenance: From the Estate of Sam & Florence Inman, Atlanta, Georgia.
