the interior and exterior finely enameled with alternating shaped cartouches enclosing figures in various pursuits, including shooting an arrow and playing chess in a garden setting, having conversations in interior scenes and enjoying a banquet at court, interspersed with floral sprays and butterflies against a white ground, the inner mouth rim decorated with a band of peonies, chrysanthemums, peaches, and melons all reserved on a gilt ground, the short straight foot painted with a lime green keyfret band.
