the first of rectangular form with rounded shoulders, the front painted to depict an official in an interior scene, the reverse with a garden scene with blooming trees, the sides decorated with bats suspending floral sprays against a blue ground, the base bearing a four-character Qianlong iron red mark, raised on a fitted hardwood stand; the second of form, the tapering body painted depicting a warring scene possibly from the Chinese Classic 'Romance of the Three Kingdoms' on a crackled ground, raised on a fitted hardwood circular stand. Height of taller 3 3/4 inches (with stand).
