the body painted with alternating writhing dragons and phoenix birds amongst clouds above waves and flowering branches issuing from rockery, the top of the cover painted to depict a sinuous forward-facing dragon surrounded by clusters of clouds and waves, the handle decorated with floral sprays, the spout decorated similarly and bearing a six-character Wanli mark in underglaze blue. Height 7 1/4 inches.
