Chinese, late 19th/ early 20th century. A hardwood mounted stone and lacquered wood double sided table screen, the wood frame on two rectangular pedestals each with four ogee feet and surmounted by baluster temple urns with bats and butterflies, the front and back lower panels and borders with further scrolling vines, lotus and chrysanthemum flowers, bats, and key patterning, the wood screen panel to front with peach colored lacquer and mounted with hardstone birds and flowering branches, likely jade, agate, and opal stones, verso of panel with gilt on black painted seascape scene with traditional architecture on rocky land masses. Apparently unmarked. Overall approximate height 23.5", width 26.5", depth 7.5". Panel approximate height 13.75", width 19.75".
