First German edition of what is also known as Ogilby's "America." With extra-engraved title, numerous in-text engravings, four (of six) portraits, 21 (of 32 double-page views, one fold-out), and 15 (of 16) double-page maps (lacking fold-out map). Boards worn and threatening to detach; evidence of removal of bookplate from front pastedown; intermittent brownspotting; marginal chipping to some plates; darkening to some leaves.
