the upper section having a rectangular three-quarter galleried top above a painted panel depicting exuberant putti dancing around a well, the drop-down writing surface inset with an oval plaque depicting a band of dancing putti and having a painted Neoclassical border, the interior fitted with a series of drawers and compartments over a monogrammed leather inset writing surface and a frieze drawer, raised on fluted tapering legs ending in toupie feet.
