Chinese, Qianlong Period mark (1736-1795), likely 20th century. A very fine famile rose porcelain flask vase of double gourd form with hand painted enamels in pink, blue, yellow, orange, and black, the lower bulbous form with ovular cartouches to either side bearing floral arrangements in woven baskets bordered by leaf tip swags, the cartouches to a field of prunus fruit vines surrounding large chrysanthemum blossoms on a ground of tan scrolls, the upper bulbous form with continued motif from lower section and topped by bats below bands of ruyi heads and key patterning, the shoulder with opposing s-shaped handles with continued motif, the whole raised on a rectangular foot. . Underside with six character archaic Chien Lung imperial reign mark. Approximate height 9.75", width 6.75", depth 3.75".
