Japanese carved and polychrome bone figural netsuke depicting female mermaid holding pearl in hand against a large green tinted aquatic plant leaf, marked on interior suspended from necklace with nine peridot bead strands joined by sterling silver beaded and bar accents at end joining chain and clasp closure, marked 925. Netsuke marked on interior of lily pad form. Netsuke approximately 3.125" long. Necklace approximately 22.75". Total weight approximately 157 grams.
