Japanese, 20th century. Rare Noritake pigeon blood glazed table vase with rolled rim above rounded shoulders on sloping body. Exterior with black pastoral landscape scene with cows cooling and drinking from pond in foreground, signed by artist lower "Ojiri". Marked on bottom "Noritake Bone China Japan".Accompanied with copy of handwritten letter dated 1982 discussing the purchase of the vase from owner in pre-occupied Japan at Noritake Factory in Kyoto, Japan, Approximate height 8.5", diameter of opening at top 2.4" .
