Japanese, likely Edo period (1603–1868). A group of two stoneware wide mouth bowls with cobalt underglaze decoration on tan or ivory ground, possibly Seto, with central six point star medallion around the mark "Fuku", which translates to "good fortune" or "happiness", and exterior decoration of horizontal banding on tondo punctuated by groups of thirteen vertical lines. Larger bowl approximately 2 5/8" tall x 7" diameter, smaller bowl approximately 2 3/4" tall x 6 3/8" diameter.
