Anestesia do Sul, Brazil, consisting of a classic Brazilian basaltic geode which has had the top section carefully sawn off and mounted above, revealing the large and finely crystallized amethyst of pale to deep purple color lining the interior and accented by a large colorless and doubly terminated twinned scalenohedral calcite crystal, the edges of the stone show blue banded agate in areas, mounted on custom wood base. 55.90 x 40.60 cm.
