Idar-Oberstein, Germany, at once a objet d'art and functional accessory, this carving was designed and executed by Manfred Wild and is composed of a delicately carved frosted rock crystal flower top centrally accented with an 18 karat yellow gold wirework stamen containing three cabochon cut rubies, the collet of yellow gold, the base formed from a single amethyst crystal of variegated color ranging from translucent colorless quartz to transparent deep purple in a fluted and flared design.
