Idar-Oberstein, Germany, consisting of two finely carved birds, their elegant necks, lifelike postures and intricate plumage faithfully reproduced, their bodies of gray obsidian, their beaks of jasper, inset hardstone eyes, oxidized silver legs, standing on a base of gray hardstone matrix interspersed with white calcite crystal sprays. Length of base: 21.60 cm.
