the eight-lobed box with relief carving, the cover depicting a forward-facing, five claw dragon above a flaming pearl over a ground of swirling waves within a border of beribboned bajixiang on swirling waves within an outer geometric band border, the box with the same border and bajixiang design above a lower border of scrolled lappets, raised on a recessed, waisted and conforming foot, the underside of which has a conforming lobed border around an apocryphal four-character Qianlong mark. Width at widest 7 3/8 inches.
