Rookwood Pottery (American, founded 1880), 1932. A bronze mounted pottery vase converted to a table lamp, the squat baluster form body with allover flambe or sang de bouef deep red glaze and underglaze crackle texture, the vase mounted with heavy bronze four footed round base decorated with scrolls and with fluted shaft at top with double pull chain sockets. Marked to underside of vase with double R Rookwood maker's mark above "XXXII" for 1932. Overall approximate height 18.25".
