Boston: Garrison and Knapp, 1832. 8vo, 16pp. First edition of the constitution of the first and very short lived (two years) abolitionist society in America. Given the extreme call the society's founder Garrison was making, for the complete and immediate emancipation of all slaves, this society did not last long. Lacking original printed wraps; overall foxing; former ownership stamp to paper pasted to title page, partially obscuring text.
