[ca. 1867] 32pp. 8vo, original hand-painted pictorial stiff paper wrappers, frontispiece and numerous illustrations in text by Thomas Nast. Originally published as the story told by Wardle on Christmas Eve in the Part X, January 1837. Wrappers lightly soiled with pen markings to upper wrapper and spine and some chipping; text lightly browned; housed in a grey archival folder.
