Ming Dynasty (1368–1644) style lacquered oblong bowl with recessed oblong medallion at center of with gilt and red scrolled motif on black lacquered ground, encircled by red lacquered interior, flanked by two rounded and elongated handles with red and black patterned accents on black lacquered ground. Unmarked. Approximate height 1.5", width 6.25", depth 5.8".
