Jaeger-LeCoultre Eight-Day Hourglass Clock Jaeger-LeCoultre, Swiss, No. 348. Made circa 1960. Fine and very rare eight-day going brass and lucite desk clock resembling an hourglass. To be sold without reserve Brass case with four Lucite panels, front convex panel, the two on the back with geometric pattern. Applied brass hexagonal screw and Arabic indexes. Brass fancy hands. Skeletonized, train running in straight line in small two bar frame, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance with self-compensating Breguet balance spring. Dial signed, case numbered. Dim. 16 x 9.7 cm.
