Fine and rare, minute-repeating, 18K yellow gold pocket watch with multicolored gold striking Jacks. Three-body, “Empire,”engine-turned. Inner guilloche blue enamel with Arabic numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds, the green enamel reserve with applied multicolored gold angels appearing to strike the sides during repeating, gold cathedral buttresses above. Gilt Louis XV hands. 45 mm., gilt, going barrels, brass three arm balance, fl at balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs with hammers. Diam. 54 mm. Notes Jacquemart automation pocket watches of this type are usually quarter repeating.
