Girard Perregaux, La Chaux-de-Fonds, No. 87319, made in 1878. Very fine and rare 18K pink gold, hunting cased, celebrated three parallel bridge keyless pocket lever chronometer, with inverted lever escapement. Four body, massive, "pomme et filets " , engineturned, the cover centred with a crowned blank escutcheon flanked by chimeras and floral decoration. Hinged gold cuvette with engine-turned border and engraved with technical details and the mention of the awarded Bulletin. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minutes ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold "Louis XV " hands.
