Vacheron & Constantin a Geneve, No. 183645, circa 1897. Fine 18K gold and enamel, keyless minute repeating watch. Four body, massive, "bassine", polished, the back centred with a black and red champleve monogram frame within an engine-tuned decoration in a sunburst pattern. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer minutes ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued-steel "spade" hands.
