Rolex Oyster, Ref. 5066. Produced in the late 1920’s. Fine and rare, sterling silver, cushion-shaped, gentleman’s wristwatch. three-body, solid, polished, screwed-down case back and crown, ribbed bezel, wire lugs. white enamel with painted black Roman numerals, auxiliary seconds dial. “Roman” blued steel hands. Notes One of the very first examples of the Oyster case with British and Swiss patent numbers engraved inside the case back.
