Fine, 18K gold, keyless chronograph watch with instantaneous 30-minute register and pulsometer scale. four-body, “bassine”, polished, gold hinged cuvette stamped with medals from different exhibitions. white enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute and chronograph scales, outermost calibration for 30 pulsations, sub-sidiary sunk seconds, sunk minute register at 12 o’clock, “Spade” gold hands. Notes The medals on the cuvette refer to the Grand Prix won by Longines in Anvers in 1885, Brussels in 1897, Paris in 1889 and 1900 and in Milan in 1906. An almost identical watch in a hunting case was chosen to exemplify the company’s chronograph achievements in the book by Jaqueline Henry BÈdat, published on the 125th anniversary of the company, (1992) p. 124.
