Very fine and rare gilt metal and enamelled copper single-hand 'oignon' watch wound through the centre, made for the Dutch market. 41.2 mm o, hinged gilt brass full plate, Egyptian pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, steel false pendulum balance with flat spring, Dutch-type single-foot cock engraved with scrolls and a shell at the base, with window for the false pendulum.Signed on dial and movement.Diam. 48 mm.
