Fine, 18K yellow gold coin watch inserted in a 50 Mexican Pesos gold coin dated 1947, bearing on one side: “50 Pesos, 37.5 gr. oro puro, 1821–1947” and the effigy of an Angel, on the other side, an Eagle with a Snake in his beak, and the words: “Estados Unidos Mexicanos”. two-body, solid, polished and brushed, on the band, the device: Independencia y Libertad, hooded lugs, cover opening by means of a secret push-piece on the band. satiné gold with painted indexes. “Bâton” blued steel hands. Cal. 1262, extra-flat, rhodium-plated, “fausses côtes” decoration, 17 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 38 mm.
