Enamel painting in the manner of Jean André, Geneva, circa 1740, movement unsigned, probably German, circa 1775.Very fine and rare, 35-hour going, 18 ct. gold and enamel watch with skeletonised movement and special escapement. 36.8 mm o, blued-steel pillar plate with applied silver mask pierced with flowers, three turned steel pillars for the two-level bridge, going barrel, the train set in a steel cage on the lower level for the wheel train, cylinder escapement with unusual form of lifting teeth on the escape wheel, plain steel three-arm balance, blued-steel short spring, on the upper level three-armed polised steel cock secured by pins.Diam. 48 mm.
