Octagonal Striking WatchDavid Haisermann, Augsbourg, circa 1580, maker's mark DH. Fine and very rare gilt metal octagonal single hand three-train clock watch with six-hour striking and alarm, made for the Italian market. Three-body, octagonal, the front cover faceted, fluted band, hinged faceted back with the centre pierced and engraved with a Renaissance rosette, octagonal pendant with loose bow, small turned finial.
