Unsigned, Geneva, circa 1900. Very fine 18 ct. gold and enamel diamond-set keyless pendant form watch in the shape of a beetle. Four-body, spring-loaded wings in translucent green enamel over engine-turning graduating from light to dark and set with rose-cut diamonds, which open to reveal the dial, neck and head set with diamonds, the eyes with rubies, gold glazed cuvette. 15.8 mm o, gilt, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, flat balance spring.Dim.
