Five-body, spring-loaded wings in translucent red enamel with black dots over engine-turning, the inner edges of the wings, the head and the eyes diamond-set, gold, hinged cuvette. 20 x 25 mm, heart shaped, gilt brass, 10 jewels, cylinder escapement, plain gilt three-arm balance, flat balance spring.Signed on the cuvette.Dim. Length 44 mm. Published in the Sandberg book, pages 492-493. Notes Sandoz Gustaveis recorded at Galerie de Valois, Palais Royale, in Paris in 1870, and in the rue Royale in 1900. Calling himself a student of Breguet, he had exhibited a regulator and a system of pendant winding without pushpiece.
