Fine, leather covered “Ermeto”, stainless steel keyless purse watch with triple date calendar and moon phases. three-body, polished, black leather covered, folding strut on the back. two-tone silver with radium-coated Arabic numerals, outer graduation for the days of the month, apertures for the days of the week, the months and the moon phases. “Alpha” radium-coated hands. Cal. 155, rhodium-plated, 15 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring. Patented Ermeto winding device by means of the sliding case. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 51 x 35 mm. Notes The “Ermeto” watch by Movado was developed by Huguenin Frères, Le Locle and patented in Germany on October 12, 1926, DRP No. 443 555. The origin is from the Greek language, and means “sealed”. This watch, accordingly, is shock resistant against external influences. A similar watch is published in “The Movado History”, by F.V.
