Eska Watch Co. , Swiss. Produced circa 1960.Fine, 22K gold, extra thin, keyless purse coin watch set in a 20 US dollar coin dated 1895. Notes Sylvan Kocher & Cie. S.A.The end of the First World War and expectations of an economic upswing led to the founding of a number of watchmaking companies in 1918. One of them was Sylvan Kocher & Cie. S.A. of Grenchen. In 1922 the company moved to the neighboring town of Selzach. Among its many brand names Kocher registered "Eska," the phonetic spelling of his initials in French.
