Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. four-body, "bassine", solid, hinged sterling silver cuvette. white enamel with painted Arabic numerals, outer minute track, sunk subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel "spade" hands. Notes Chronom?tre RoyalThe trademark for the ?Chronom?tre Royal? was registered on May 28, 1907 (No. 22193), followed by the registration of the mark ?Royal Chronometer? on May 30, 1908 (No.23872). This series of watches was specially made for the South American Market (particularly Argentina and Brazil). Their movements were generally of high quality with calibers ranging from 11"' to 22"', with 18 jewels, a gold screwed setting on the center wheel, an endstone for the escape wheel and a sapphire endstone for the balnce wheel. Further proof of their quality is the Breguet balance spring and a swan-neck micrometric regulator. The cases came in different metals, sizes and decorations, while the dials were produced in guilloch? silver or white enamel.
