“Tropical” Rolex, “Oyster Perpetual, Chronometer", Ref. 3131. Made in the 1940s. Very fine, tonneau-shaped, centerseconds, self-winding, water-resistant, 18K pink gold gentleman's wristwatch. Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown. Copper-colored with painted black indexes, outer minute/seconds graduation. Pink gold "alpha" hands. Cal. 630, rhodium-plated, 19 jewels, straight line lever escapement, Superbalance adjusted to temperatures and 5 positions, Breguet balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 32 mm. Thickness: 13 mm.
