Two-body, polished and brushed, octagonal cabochon sapphire-set winding crown, back secured with 4 screws, sapphire crystal. Guilloché silver with painted black radial Roman numerals, aperture for the date at 6, secret “Cartier” signature on the VII. Blued steel “épée” hands. Cal. 120, rhodium-plated, 20 jewels, “fausses côtes” and “oeil-de-perdrix” decorations, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, micrometer regulator.
