“Purse Watch” Audemars Piguet, Swiss, Ref 5663, No. 59529, made in the 1980s. Fine, rare and unusual 18K gold keyless pebble-shaped purse watch. Oval, the case in a gold interwoven wire mesh pattern, cabochon- set winding crown. Champagne with black Roman numerals. Black "baton" hands. Rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, adjusted to heat, cold and five positions, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Length. 50 mm.
