Lady’s Pendant Chronometro Gondolo Patek Philippe & Cie. , Genève, “Chronometro Gondolo”, movement No. 164813, case No. 268428. Made for Gondolo & Laboriau, Relojoeiros, Rio de Janeiro, in 1911, sold on August 4th, 1911. Very fine and very rare, keyless, 18K yellow gold and enamel, “Chronometro Gondolo” lady’s pendant watch. Four-body, “demi-bassine”, entirely engraved with scrolls, the back cover with a blue enamel monogram “MJ”. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track with 5-minute Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial. Gold spade hands. Notes The Chronometro Gondolo was made in sizes ranging from 10 – 22 lignes, most being 20 or 21 lignes. The smaller calibre watches are very rare.
