Fine and unusual, "carré galbé", 18K yellow gold keyless dress watch. Accompanied by a Patek Philippe box. Two-body, solid, partly polished on the back, on the band and bezel, also partly chased in a bark-effect pattern, trapezoidal fixed pendant. Entirely chased yellow gold repeating the case decoration and with applied black baton indexes. Black baton hands. Cal. 23-300 PM, stamped twice with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 18 jewels, straightline lever escapement, Gyromax balance adjusted for heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, self-compensating Breguet balancespring. shock-absorber. In 1955, at the age of 24, he applied his innovative talents to the design of wristwatch cases for Patek Philippe. Breaking away from traditional shapes, he introduced asymmetrical triangles and rhombic forms inspired by his passion for modern sculpture and his favorite artists, such as Brancusi and Mondrian. He also introduced textured organic surfaces on the asymmetrical shapes in the Patek Philippe "Ricochet" collection.
