Platinum Minute-Repeater E. W. & C Co, No. 5966. Made circa 1930. Fine and rare, thin, platinum, keyless minute-repeating dress watch. Three-body, bassine, polished and brushed. Off white, with painted Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel Breguet hands. 38 mm. (17’’’), rhodium-plated, 29 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with 8 adjustments, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs through activating slide in the band. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 44 mm.
