Fine and rare, water-resistant, center seconds, self-winding, tonneau-shaped stainless steel wristwatch with stainless steel Oyster Bracelet with deployant clasp. Accompanied by its original warranty (now void). Three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown. Silver, applied gold baton indexes, luminous dots and outer minute/second track, aperture for the date, UAE Air Force logo. Luminous gold baton hands. Cal. 1225, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 34 mm. Thickness 12 mm Notes The present watch is featured in “Rolex, Collecting Modern and Vintage Wristwatches”, Guido Mondani Editions, pg 379. This watch has remained in as-new condition, probably never having been worn. Its original case back sticker still intact, accompanied by its certificate stamped by a Rolex retailer in Abu Dhabi, attest to its origins.
