Turn-O-Graph White Honeycomb Dial Rolex, "Turn-O-Graph, Oyster Perpetual, Officially Certified Chronometer," Ref. 6202. Made in 1953. Fine and very rare, center seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, stainless steel wristwatch with bi-directional revolving black bezel. Accompanied by the original chronometer certificate and timing certificate. Three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown, bi-directional revolving graduated black bezel with red arrow showing the zero point. Off-white honeycomb with applied faceted baton indexes, outer minute/seconds track. Steel dauphine hands. Cal. 620, rhodium-plated, 19 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 35 mm. Thickness 13 mm. Notes The 'Turn-O-Graph' Ref. 6202 was touted by Rolex as "the watch with a thousand and one uses." The watch was available in the 'De Luxe Model' with a "magnificent white 'honey-comb' dial" and was also available in black. The present watch is a prestine example of the white honey-comb dial De Luxe Model and is accompanied by its original chronometer certificate and original timing certificate.
