Made in the early 1980s. Fine and rare, center seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with date and an 18K yellow gold Oyster Fliplock bracelet. Three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown, graduated uni-directional revolving black bezel for the decompression times, Triplock winding-crown protected by the crown guard, sapphire crystal with cyclops lens. Black with luminous round, triangular and baton gold indexes, outer minute/seconds track, aperture for the date. Luminous gold skeleton hands. Cal. 3035, rhodium-plated, 27 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures and 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance-spring, Microstella regulating screws, hack mechanism. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 40 mm. Thickness 13 mm. Notes An all gold version of the ref. 16800 was produced in the early 1980s and numbered as reference 16808. The present watch is retailed by Tiffany & Co. and is one of the last Rolex models to be co-branded by a retailer.
