Fine and rare, stainless steel, self-winding, water-resistant wristwatch with oval button chronograph, registers, stainless steel Longines deployant clasp and a stainless steel keyless pocket watch. Wristwatch: To be sold without reserve Frosted silver with enameled black Arabic numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary dials for the 30-minute and 12-hour registers. Blued steel spade hands. Cal. L674, rhodium-plated, 25 jewels, straight line lever escapement, Glucydur balance, self-compensating flat balance spring, shock absorber. Diam. 41 mm. Thickness 15 mm. Pocket Watch: C. Two-body, bassine, polished, curved bezel, inclined band, hinged back with Zeppelin-shaped aperture and special engraving, glazed cover over the movement, sapphire crystals. D. Notes This wristwatch and pocket watch set was made exclusively for Wempe’s 100th Anniversary. The design was inspired by the Longines chronometers used aboard the LZ 127 "Graf Zeppelin" which made the first non-stop flight to New York in 1924.
