Fine and rare, 18K yellow gold, keyless, two-train Grande and Petite Sonnerie clockwatch with trip quarter-repeating, perpetual calendar, moon phases and lunar calendar. Four-body, “bassine et filet”, polished, back cover engraved with a monogram, correctors in the band. Hinged gold cuvette engraved "Boxell Brighton" within a garter. White enamel with painted radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the days of the week, date, months with leap-year indication, aperture for the moon phases with lunar calendar at the edge. Blued steel spade hands. 44 mm, (19’’’), frosted gilt, 31 jewels, twin barrels with tandem winding, calibrated and counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, striking and repeating on gongs at the quarters or at will activated by a trip slide in the band, silence/petite sonnerie/grande sonnerie levers protruding from under the cuvette. In Petite Sonnerie Striking, "ting-tang" quarters are struck at the quarters, but the hour is only struck at the hour.
