Very fine and very rare, 18K yellow gold, hunting-cased keyless pocket watch with original relief case decoration by Hans Erni. Accompanied by the original box, booklet and Certificate of Origin. Three-body, "bassine", polished, the covers decorated with special high-relief decoration by Hans Erni, the front cover with the crouching figure of William Tell with a crossbow, the back cover with an apple pierced by an arrow on the Swiss cross, the border inscribed "50. Eidgenossisches Schutzenfest 1979 Luzern". Gold snap-on cuvette. White lacquered with narrow black radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Black Louis XV hands. Cal. 17-170, stamped twice with the Seal of Geneva quality mark, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator.
